Knuckle Rings- NEVER Too Much

My first post on my blog has to be about something that really excites me and brings joy to my day, and I know this may seem weird to some but the thing that makes me happy on a sad, sour day is... KNUCKLE RINGS.

For me they have a nostalgic presence to them. They bring me back to my childhood watching the hit TV show 'Friends' on a weekend over at my grandparents house with all my cousins and aunts, and as we watched I would become mesmerised by the character Phoebe Buffay- played by actress Lisa Kudrow- and her hippy style. Her clothes were filled with colours and prints, her hairstyles fun and playful and best of all her hands were filled from bottom to top with gorgeous, unique finger candy. I'm talking about Knuckle rings.

Knuckle rings are rings that sit between your top and bottom knuckle as apposed to under you bottom knuckle at the base of your finger. There are so many different variations of knuckle ring but usually they come in a set of matching rings. You can have then big and bulky, as just a band round your fingers or any where in-between.

Spring 2013 brought back the knuckle ring trend, which brings me so much joy it's ridiculous, and has been adorned by celebrities such as Rhianna, Khloe Kardashian and Vanessa Hudgens, and have been all over my instagram feed posted by little boutiques with there own personal take on knuckle rings. For my graduation I'd purchased a couple sets from 'Forever 21' which have become a staple to my style. They're a distressed gold colour, they simple hug your finger beautifully and I adore how in the set the rings range in design from a key shaped design to a big rhinestone.

So please, go out and grab every set of knuckle rings you can find. I know its now winter time but you can dazzle on lookers as you take your gloves off to reveal fingers laced in candy as you swipe your oyster, or pay for you groceries. Trust me, knuckle rings, never too much.
